Halusimme juhlistaa näyttelyllä metsän monimuotoisuutta, sen ehdotonta pyrkimystä elää ja olla olemassa. Päätimme kääntää mielemme pois kaupungeista, pois ihmismielen järjestelemästä arkkitehtonisesta todellisuudesta, jossa puut kasvavat riveissä ja eläimet liikkuvat aikataulujen mukaan. Metsä on kulttuurimme näkymätön tasavalta. Metsä on mielentila. Metsä on Kuvyon kesänäyttely.

We wanted to celebrate the diversity of forest and its absolute endeavor to live and to exist. We decided to turn our minds away from the cities, away from the structured architectonic reality, where trees grow in lines and animals move within fixed timetables. Forest is an invisible republic of our culture. Forest is a state of mind. Forest is Kuvyo’s summer exhibition.
